Kieren Sews: Red Dress to Red Skirt

My mom bought me a red dress awhile back that I hardly ever wore.  It was a nice dress and very basic, so I didn't want to get rid of it.  When I tried it on again last week, I realized it was too short.  I decided to add it to the pile of clothes I'm planning to refashion.

So, I'm a terrible seamstress, but I try.

The elastic, all pinned up and ready to sew.

Not bad for my first try, huh?

Just don't look at the seams!!
