On Friday, after work, Husband took me out for Arizona Restaurant Week. Since we're poor people, we love an opportunity to eat at a fancy restaurant for cheap.
Well, it's not really cheap, but it's cheaper.
We chose Durant's in downtown Phoenix. It's an old steakhouse with lots of character.
The food was delicious and I even got creme brulee (a MUST). The mashed potatoes were excellent and the bread was the best I've ever had. It was covered in leeks, oil, and butter.
YUM!
I love a little bit of fancy fun, out on the town, with my hubby.

ReplyDeleteWe went to Durants once a few years ago for my birthday and it was amazing! We also had the creme brulee and I agree that it was delicious! Reading this post makes me want to go back again sometime soon. Probably not though because of the outrageous price!
