She met him on a blind date.

He was handsome, brutally honest, and made her laugh.

He was the first and only boy who made her wonder if there would be a second date.

He was in Phoenix, she was in Tucson.

They dated for 5 painful, long-distance months.

She got an internship at the House of Representatives.

They wanted to get married, but felt like crazy people.

He was almost asleep on the couch; she told him they needed to pick a date.

It was 12:05 am on New Year’s Day.

He suggested March; she suggested May.

He proposed in a dive bar; she was humiliated, but loved the ring.

They were married in the Mesa, Arizona temple on March, 13, 2010.

He tries to be a great husband; she tries to be a great wife.

They are very happy.
