This weekend was quite lovely, if I do say so myself. Why with all of the gallivanting around I did, I almost felt like my non-pregnant self, so svelte and graceful.
Oh, the good ol’ days, when I weighed 27 pounds less.
(Yes, I did say twenty-seven-pounds less. But that is quite perfect, you see, being that the average weight gain of a first time mom is 25-35 pounds.)
Here's the rundown:
I swam in pools, I ate watermelon, I took naked pictures of myself in the bathtub, I promptly deleted naked pictures of myself in the bathtub, I played with babies, I went to a cloth diaper class, I didn’t figure out what type of cloth diapers to buy, I watched our instructor nurse her child, I shopped around the mall, I checked myself out in the mirror a few times, I drooled in Anthropology, I didn’t spend any money, I didn’t purchase a little girl outfit, I saw cute baby moccasins, I got a flat tire in the middle of nowhere, I had myself a Thrifty’s ice cream cone, I peed three times in one night, I went to church, I woke up Husband (who was dodging bullets in Sacrament meeting), I made homemade chocolate ice cream, I actually prepared dinner, and I dried the dishes.
Truly, you should have been there.
Especially in the bath tub.
Glad to know I'm not the only one that puts digital cameras to good use :)
