Sky Train-ing

My job rocks because I get to attend a lot of cool events... and I get paid for it!

The Sky Harbor Tour was our latest adventure.  I learned some fabulous facts about the airport and saw the awesome construction for the Sky Train.

I learned: that the airport makes almost a 50% profit each year, that airline companies only have 30-day contracts with the airport, and 44th St/Washington will be getting its very own airport station by 2013!

Best of all, our bus got to cruise around on the airfield.  We were driving next to HUGE airplanes!

I think planes are so beautiful.

Bittersweet

I applied for jobs all summer and was totally unsuccessful, until the law firm came along.

I l-o-v-e it there.

The people are awesome, it's close to home, the environment is relaxed, there's plenty to do, and I enjoy the work.

Out of nowhere, I was offered a job that I didn't even apply for.

It really is a great job.

I had to take it.

(Salary and benefits!)

But... now I have to fight traffic, work longer days, and quit being a ballet teacher.

It's bittersweet, to say the least.

I'm a Big Kid Now

First day at the law firm.

I loved it.

Awesome co-workers, comfortable environment, a variety of tasks, and lots to keep my busy.

Perfect.

Ultimate Blessing

I finally got a job!  It's with a law firm in Tempe and I am more than excited.

It's amazing when things work out perfectly.  Husband's first class started at 9:30 this morning, exactly the same time that I received the offer from the law firm.

What a blessing.
