Elephants on Parade

I mentioned it awhile back, but never got around to posting photos from my mini baby shower!

Unfortunately, I only documented the adorable decorations and not my favorite people.  I am still waiting for my girlfriends to upload their pictures onto Facebook (so that I can shamelessly steal and use them).

For now, here is a quick peek at the cutest baby shower I've ever seen.

I was so touched by the thoughtful effort that my best friends put into this baby celebration.  From the bright colors, to the baby elephants, to the fun games, homemade red velvet cake (my favorite!), and personal gifts...

I couldn't have asked for better.

Truly, I am so blessed to have such amazing sisters.

Thank you for your love, your patience, and your caring.  I know that I'm not always the best friend, but I am so lucky to have all of you teaching me how to be better.  My baby is going to have the best aunts!

I love you all!

(I am so excited to post more pictures in the future!!)

The Temple Lights

I love spending time with my bestest friends.
They truly brighten up my day and make me laugh, laugh, laugh.

On Monday night, they came over for dinner and then we went to the Mesa Temple Lights.

I'm pretty sure Nicki was impressed by my vegetarian cuisine.
(aka spaghetti sauce out of a jar)

We really loved all of the lights and the nativities from around the world.

But, most of all, we just loved being together.
(It doesn't happen enough, nowadays.)

P.S.  I just discovered the downside of onsie pajamas...
It gets pretty cold when you need to use the restroom.

Girlfriends

These girls took me out to Oregano's for a pre-birthday dinner.

Yum yum.

I love the pesto penne pasta.

And the free, birthday pazookie is out of this world!

I don't know what I'd do without these two.  They are the best friends a girl can have.  I hope we stay close for many years to come.

Thanks for a great to start to a great birthday!
