On Top of the World

This weekend, the girls headed out to an Easter celebration.  Easter is usually a low-key holiday around these parts, so it was a lot of fun to do something a little bit different.

It was so nice to get away from the big city and the ever-increasing temperature.
Oh, how I long for green trees and tall grasses...

Our First Easter

After General Conference and an awesome dinner with the in-laws, we hit the pavement.

Riding away, down our street.

Husband and our bikes.

Trying to get a good picture.  10-Second Timer only does so much.

The Phoenix skyline over Tempe Town Lake.

Wooo.

The (inflatable) dam.

It's time to dye some eggs!

Green grass.

In the act.

He complained a little bit... but then got more into it than I did!

Our pretty little eggs.

Kieren in the Kitchen: That's Amore!

Toppings, dough, and homemade pizza sauce.

Halfway there...

Ready to bake!  Looks delicious!

Mozzarella + chicken + onions + orange and yellow peppers = a happy husband.

Easter is Right Around the Corner!

Today, when Husband and I visited the temple, I saw all the preparations for the Easter Pageant!  I love it!  I haven't been since I was 15ish, but it was wonderful.  Everyone should check it out at least once.  Go!
